A  Balancing Act

The Three Wellness Chakras are interconnected and complement one another. So if a problem develops in one, it can affect the working of the other two.

So, for example, a physiological nutritional deficiency could result in a physical injury. Similarly a structural injury could also manifest itself by causing relationship problems or depression.
We all know how important the state of our mind is to the state of our body. So if there is a problem with our psychological Chakra it will adversely affect your other Chakras too.
The link between cause and effect is sometimes obvious. A bereavement can cause depression, a series of rushed working lunches can result in indigestion.
Sometimes the connection is less obvious. Who would think that eczema can be caused by emotional upset?

Our body is equipped to deal with everyday challenges. It continuously makes the adjustments essential to maintain stability. In order to do this, it draws on resources in each of the three systems of the body and mind:

Physiological Chakra

The physiological system provides nourishment to various life-processes. Our bodies receive nutrients from the food we feed it and those found in fruit, vegetables and other natural produce, can help prevent an astonishing amount of illnesses.

However, as we all know, the progress mankind has made with technology has meant that are increasingly consuming food that lacks in that all important nutrition. Over a period of time this deficiency can cause a plethora of life-style related disorders that can hamper our well-being.

Psychological Chakra

Our feelings, emotions and thoughts comprises of our psychological make-up. Incidences occurring in our busy lifestyles induce stress on our minds creating a psychological imbalance. Astonishingly, our mental state deeply affects various other parts of our body and this creates an imbalance. Sometimes, we come across challenging situations in our daily lives which trigger emotions like anger, sadness, grief, regret etc.

Such situations compel our minds to use a huge amount of energy which was otherwise intended to be utilized to for other purposes which will benefit the body. Hence it is of utmost importance that we endorse psychological wellness.

Physical Chakra

The Human Body comprises of a framework of muscles, joints and bones - protecting all our internal organs and allowing us to move freely.

All essential nutrients are transported to various parts of the body through the blood, which also acts to regulate the temperature of the body and co-ordinates removal of waste. The heart and its intricate network consisting arteries and veins regulates the flow of blood. This is called the circulatory system.
 
And All life processes are coordinated by the chemical cells of the nervous system centering around the brain and spinal cord.

These systems are a part of The Physical System and conduct necessary life processes support the health of all organs and the brain. Hence, their optimum functioning is essential for well-being.
